Lesya, 2025
Influenced by a conversation Natasha had with her parents about Lesya Ukrainka staying ina small town near Odessa (where Natasha is from) to treat her tuberculosis in the early 1900s, Natasha painted Lesya. Drawing from the mysterious and profound works of Ukraine’s best-known poet, she incorporated intricate patterns and bright colors into the work, creating a rich tapestry that draws from history and personal experience.
