Mother of Compassion came shaped by personal grief, the weight of ongoing wars, and the current state of the world. Ukrainian-inspired embroidery and primitive forms are seen throughout the work. The woman is holding a red poppy flower and is surrounded by things both dead and alive. Blue bird, a personal symbol used by the artist, is seen above one of her eyes. Flower crown, a Ukrainian tradition, floats as a halo.

Something stirred deep within — a visceral response to the world’s unrest. In Awoken, Natasha channels this awakening through the lens of her ancestral memory. Drawing from the mysterious and ancient patterns of her Ukrainian roots, the piece emerges as both a personal reckoning and a cultural invocation.
On the left, lyrics from a Ukrainian song once sung by Natasha's mother echo through the composition. Her signature palette of bold, radiant color threads through the canvas, forming a vibrant tapestry that bridges contemporary abstraction with personal and collective heritage.

In Firecatcher, a mythic feminine figure is suspended between worlds. A black crow, hovers in the upper right. From the woman’s forehead bursts a blood-red sunflower. It blooms like a third eye, radiating the fire of resistance. Yellow and blue rays — in colors of the Ukrainian flag — shoot outward in an aura of healing light.
Interwoven into the composition are fragments of Ukrainian traditional motifs, anchoring the work in the cultural and spiritual inheritance of Natasha’s heritage. Firecatcher is a force: the one who cradles the flame without being consumed. She catches fire — not to be destroyed, but to bear it forward.

Natasha painted Ukrainian Spring at the two-year mark of the invasion of Ukraine. The work explores themes of physical borders, personal and collective freedom, cultural preservation, and the unwavering will not just to survive, but to thrive.
The colorful portrait of a woman wearing a flower crown filled with sunflowers — symbol of resistance — features Ukrainian newspaper article about the invasion, cut into the shape of a traditional Ukrainian tree-of-life embroidery motif.

Like a guardian angel, a woman stands protecting her land, holding a flower bouquet like a shield. Sunflowers and native wildflowers seen in the bouquet. Her sleeve features elements of traditional Ukrainian embroidery which has long been used as a talisman against evil.
