What started as a glamorous portrait painting at the beginning of 2022, turned into a survival manifesto just a few months later that year, after Russia invaded Ukraine. semi-biographical, the portrait of a young woman is painted in most bright and visceral brushstrokes over a military camouflage background. She is determined, she is colorful, she is not broken, she will survive and thrive. Sunflower — ukraine's national flower turned symbol of resistance — seen collaged in her hair.
