‘Atmosphere’ , 2021-2022
Natasha worked on this large oil+acrylic painting over the span of an entire year. This very dramatic sunset sky, while somber, gives a sense of hope to the work. Tumultuous red clouds at the bottom of the painting give birth to gentle flesh-toned wispy clouds at the top which has a calming effect. The composition is very strong. Eye-pleasing proportions of two equally-split squares with a positive upward movement to the right makes the eye travel about the canvas without ever leaving it. You can get lost in this work for hours, marveling at the mother nature, getting lost in poetic thoughts, or simply meditating in silence.

‘Lilac May’ , 2022
Growing up in Ukraine, lilacs were Natasha's favorite flowers where they grow in abundance. This acrylic painting of lilacs in the morning sun reminds her of late May mornings filled with fragrant flowers fresh with morning dew; you can smell their delicate scent in the air, scent unlike any other flower. Painted with vivid bold brushstrokes, you can see a lot of texture on this larger canvas. Sides of this canvas are painted charcoal gray so the painting can be displayed as is.

‘California Gold’, 2018
This oil painting was created in September of 2018 from a real scene by the Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve in San Jose, California. The lone oak stands still in the dried golden brush under the harsh California sun. Beautiful yet fragile scene. Painted right around the Californian fire season — for this work Natasha developed her own technique where oil paint is showing cracking multiple places around the canvas, conveying the beauty of nature, and the fragility of life.

‘Santorini’, 2018
Big decisive brush strokes of blue, white, ochre, and red populate this work with gusto. One of Natasha's earlier oils, painted at a time where she was developing her own color blocking technique, and her process can be seen in this work very well. At first the work looks busy, but the moment one's eye starts following the scene one's overjoyed by the serenity of the sea, warmth of the city, and calmness of the sky. A single blue-domed Greek orthodox church creates a single focal point — Natasha's trademark — near the center of the painting. Big bold magenta bougainvillea is blooming in front right, blue mountains and sea are visible in back left.
